The Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University was established in 1957 as the State College of Applied Fine Arts. It joined Marmara University in 1983 and has since become a leading institution in art and design education. The faculty aims to combine creativity with original thought and trains artists and designers through undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs. It has an active global presence through collaborations and projects with international institutions and strengthened cross-cultural interaction through the 6th International Student Triennial in 2013. The Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University continues to be one of Turkey's leading representatives in the fields of art and design thanks to its distinguished students, experienced academic staff and international achievements.
