He graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 2019. During his undergraduate studies, he was an exchange student at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz and Commenius University. He received a scholarship for summer school education at the University of Chicago Mac Lean Ethics Institute. After about 3 years of medical practice, he is now working as a lecturer at Marmara University, Department of History of Medicine and Ethics.
In addition to Orhan Önder's "Patient Privacy" editorial book published in 2020, he has a second editorial book titled "The World After The Pandemic: Science & Technology" in 2021. He is fluent in English, Arabic and intermediate German.
He continues his doctorate education at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Department of History of Medicine and Ethics. His scientific studies cover:

Önder is a prime member of the Junge-Medizinethik (JMED) initiative launched within Akademie für Ethik in der Medizin. He is also a member of the executive team of the international student community called "PhD Students in AI Ethics" and a contributor at the For Humanity Center and The-Yuan platform.
