Lect. Dr. Orhan Onder

He graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 2019. During his undergraduate studies, he was an exchange student at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz and Commenius University. He received a scholarship for summer school education at the University of Chicago Mac Lean Ethics Institute. After about 3 years of medical practice, he is now working as a lecturer at Marmara University, Department of History of Medicine and Ethics.


In addition to Orhan Önder's "Patient Privacy" editorial book published in 2020, he has a second editorial book titled "The World After The Pandemic: Science & Technology" in 2021. He is fluent in English, Arabic and intermediate German.


He completed his PhD at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Department of History of Medicine and Ethics with his thesis "The Ethical Aspects of Artificial Intelligence Use in Medicine within the Context of Clinical Decision Support Systems"
